Brundage-Bone Concrete Pumping Inc. of Denver has hired Gary Bernardez as chief operating officer, the company announced Thursday.
Brundage-Bone is the largest concrete-pumping company in the U.S. with operations in 16 states. The company was acquired last August by an affiliate of Peninsula Pacific Strategic Partners LLC, an investment firm headquartered in Los Angeles.

Bernardez, who most recently served as senior vice president of global services for Irving, Texas-based engineering firm Fluor Corp., has more than 20 years of experience in construction and industrial services industries.

"Gary's organizational, recruiting and strategic analysis skills combined with his professional experiences are an instrumental part of our aggressive business plan," said Bruce Young, president and CEO at Brundage.

"I am very excited to join the leader in the concrete pumping and placement industry," Bernardez said.
