Nice pictures 3. On one of your last pictures the power lines look close. I figure they are a couple hundred feet away. You know how pictures can fool the eye. How far away are they from you?      18

nice pictures, but listen at the first sight it seems like you are 5 feet away from those power lines. Now knowing you, i know that it was just the way the photo was taken but man that scared for a little loll.

Those wires are seventy five yards from the top of the second section. It is a State Job, CA. dept. of water resources. I had an on site spotter with me the whole time.

It is a requirement on that job, that the state has an employee totally dedicated to wires, and electrical safety. it is a pump station on the California aquaduct. Those windmills in the background also have rules for booms and cranes etc. 75 feet.
