Is it hard to fix a oil leak in a 02 Schwing ag motor? Mine is leaking inside the hopper. |

You can pop it apart and order parts or just order the whole agitator motor..ordering the motor will save you time, screwing up, downtime..make the call, don't forget the rubber |

Save yourself some agrevation, and replace it with a new one. Parts usually have a long, not worth rebuilding |

So its not just an outer seal. yeah i believe it. Hydraulic leaks are usually more internal. |

It is the outer seal but the motor has to be taken apart completely to replace the seal. The price of a new one is around 600 and the price of getting it rebuilt at a hydralics shop is not that much cheaper. if the output shaft is grooved near the seal it will leak again. If the shaft is not grooved and you want to rebuild it yourself you need the seal kit and a press to remove the inner bearing. |

replace the motor , seals may last a few months , but the shaft is usually worn to the point , its pretty much a waste of time rebuilding in my experiences. |

Replace from a new one from Schwing, you will soon need the bearings replaced too if you wait!!
