I run a 2012 Alliance 38. When I go to work tomorrow I will take a pic of the remote and send it to you. I love this pump. I was hesitant at first, but the first day I was hooked.

the toggles are shorter because it is for a five section boom

ive found three joystics is far better then two joysticks with the top push button or twist toggles.

I have that same remote on a concord i got a couple years ago , very good box, one thing cool about alliance and concord , you can order either hbc or omnex boxes, also that remote has a key that keeps all your setting so if remote is ranover or you send in for repair , all you need is the keyfor the transmitter not reciever and it will work without reprogramming .

Why do you have to program your remote? All it does is transmitting input signals from your joystick or switches

u are stetting the proportional signal from the joystick to the stack valve (simplified explanation).  Schwings (before vector, never had one) setting were in the main receiver on the pump, if i remember right (been a while)

you can set all your remote the same, or to the preference of the operator (which can be challenging if your use to your remote and hop to an old timer who sets his box near black and white)

Indeed. I realy like to have as little as possible ''deadstick'' . just touching the stick should already give a slight reaction in the valve. Some guys set up the remote so that you have to go almost half way with the stick to get any reaction.  And than at 3/4 you're already full open..  I realy hate that.. Sometimes pumps are programmed like that from the factory. hopeless..

Sometimes the remote can make or break the pump. I drove a 33m SARAKA combi pump for a while. A great quality machine from Finland. You can get any remote you want on that machine but the owner had chosen a DATEK remote with Paddels instead of joysticks. WTF it was so bad it just destroied the whole pump. Never driven such a shit pump in my life just becasue of that remote..

This is not a picture of that exact same remote but its just to give you an idea.

What made it even worse was that every time you reset the remote you had to adjust the boom speed again. There was no propper way to see what boom speed you where on. Just a switch that you had to push faster or slower. it had like 6 different speeds. Never sure which speed you where on. In addition the E-stop was possitioned so that when you bend over you push it. So because of that there was a lot of resetting the remote. Lovely Cool

these remotes need to be programmed , the boom settings , throttle up and down, and volume control , its simple , and that key can save you a couple thousand on a new reciever if the transmitter is ever damaged .

what beast said.  that is why omnex was so awsome.  i do not know anymore, been on putz too long.  HBC are AWSOME. reliable, lighter, easy to program but no two HBC are the same.  Love both HBC and Omnex, like dipstick said, a remote can make and brake a boom pump.  Not saying either will not fail, it is electrical, once programed right, HBC and Omnex have made alot of very happy wall guys.  DAMN.  Those paddle joysticks are only good for a knuckle picker.  If i was a manufactor, paddle joystick would not be an opinion.  Im not, so my opinion means FA.
