If you have a Putz that you bought in the last few years! You may not have a hopper step! I make a step that bolts on in less then 5 min. They are powder coated white. I also make a grease gun kit to go on the step.

It will fit your hopper if your screen safety switch on the driver side. Comes with 2 bolts & washers.

If your pump has a safety switch on the passenger side i make one for it. But you will need to drill 1 hole.

They are made out of 10 g cold rolled steel.

This is not a Putz product is it? this is an aftermarket part correct?

Yes it's not made by putz! After fallen off my new putz I had to make something to step on. A few of my operator friends had the same problem. I built a few for them , it was a most to have. Cheaper them   Workmen's Comp.

Imbarassing that the customers have to arrange things like this themselves.

The company I work for purchased these steps. They make it much easier and safer to get in and clean the hopper. The handle that was there before was easy to slip and fall from. The picture below is  of the step on a 56m. Installation is fast and easy. Take off two bolts and use the supplied nuts and bolts. Takes all of about 5 minutes to install. Definitely worth if for peace of mind when climping in and out of the hopper. 

These are a great addition to our new Putzmeister pumps. They create a safe platform to put one foot on when cleaning the hopper. The quality is excellent. Fit and finish is perfect. Easy to install and a necessary addition to your new Putzmeister pump. We've bought one for every new pump in the fleet.
