I re trucked the old girl over the weekend, turned out pretty good. Most people wouldnt guess this pump begain its life in 1981 heh

The old truck was nearly 6 years old and we usually swap them every 5-6 years anyway as this is the 6th truck under this pump. Although i didnt really want to  invest right now the old truck was having issues with the dpf filter. Got a quote for the repairs and was about $5000 AU and 5 days off the road, just seemed like a better deal to update.

We sold those Transcrete Sidewinders on a new Mitsubishi Canter with pipeline kit for A$ 29,000.00.

Now 34 years later and 6 truck replacements ... it sure has earned it's keep. 

Wow DIGGER prices sure have changed,, i payed nearly double that just for the new truck hah. She realy has earned her keep, we work this machine every day. Put almost 60m3 down today over two jobs and she didnt skip a beat. It is getting harder though, some of the parts are no longer available so we are having to get things custom made for us now, although most wear parts are standard Transcrete/Jacon.
