I was Certified last spring when the ACPA came to town. I really enjoyed the seminar! I thought it was informative/ a reminder course! I Will probably go this year if they come back. Being safe is a  " I'M RESPONSIBLE " Thing. One may have the paper work but it is " THEIR ACTIONS " that count! It takes no more time do do it safe & rite than it does to cowboy it most of the time. I appreciate it when customers comment on the use of all safety straps off the boom. I'm covered, customer feels more safe and it is a better operation.

Well I tend to agree not about it being such a joke but a but cover action. Maybe I should get into detail naaa. I see operators breaking rules always we put them through courses and spot checks and on and on. I say use common sense, but who am I to say that, their common sense and my common sense are 10 different things. The running of a pump comercial then residential are 1billion sanarios. They get the job done great, have they solved the setup problem with a safe factor hmm maybe some will dispute. Have they fallen to the supers advice or demand HMM some may dispute. ACPA is good or it is something to go by.

We in Canada have a 10ft to high power rule, not 17. Bad maybe, but we do not pull a sponge then spit the sponge out the boom like the ACPA suggested. Keep back what 15 ft, pfff with some operators keep back two blocks. Every one has their own safety zones.

So I tend to agree, and disagree.
