Pumping a small set of walls in Lamoine. Had to reach over the house, but a computer problem with the truck caused my remote to quit working. A couple phone calls and Gary and Duane had to come down and help me. We had run the pump and boom... manually with Duane guiding me over the house - in the dark. This is my view of Duane from the manual controls at the top of the turret. What challenge! ! I was very nervous. But we got the job done. Thanks Duane and Gary Moore!!See More

No fun! i finished in the dark 5 times this winter and it is treturous. I usually will not start if i'm not able to at least pump out in the light then clean out at dark. One new experience i had was walking back from around the hole after finishing a couple sono tubes in the dark, and a i fell into a four foot hole... Dah yah, it was so dark i couldn't see my own hand. No one even saw it happen lucky i fell on my butt and didn't get hurt. Its very unsafe. Usually because the mud is late. Plus it gets dark here at 4:30.

Reminds me of last weeks job. Brand new 36z putz. Remote stoped working. OK such can happen. I told my trainee we have to use the cable remote no problem. All the other brands I runn lately have proportional spare remotes so this 'Rolce Royce' under the pumps surely MUST have. But no.. And why am I not surprised? Why do I see this comming from miles away putz?? Please give us something decent to work with Yell PLEASE

I forgot to mention that this is a Cifa 36Z I rarely have major problems with it ,I've been runing it three years and it usually works great. I have cord that is supposed to plug into the truck and remote but I've never had to use it. I tried it that night but I'll be damned if I could get it to take over and run the truck. That is what made me think it is  a computer failure. We got her all washed out and back to the barn and they have been talking to Irving... last I heard they haven't figured it out yet.. i'll keep you guys posted.

I also ment it did have a cable remote but it was not proportional... Sad.. Good luck with your problem!

the wireless remote stopped working on the 2013 TB130 I was running, so I hooked up the wired remote, and only the right turn worked. HAH

Nothing else worked at all.. So I had to do the job from the stack valves

Well It's been over a week and they have figured out how to reprogram the remote to accept the cord and can run it that way. They have tried replacing the antenna part of the circuit board in the remote and that hasn't helped. they are talking about shipping the entire remote to Irving and see what they can do with it but the boss isn't that keen on that scenario. It's winter in Maine and things have slowed down enough that they have layed me off and I'm on call for any jobs that come up. I'm a little out of the loop right now but stay in touch with them on the phone. I'm sure it's some thing simple but we aren't equipped with the proper diagnostic tools to troubleshoot it. I do know that we have a couple large slabs to do very soon so they better make a desicsion soon... Later, Hippie
