Joe, Both are really good pumps. Alliance is a good support group as well as Erving Equipment for Concord. You are familiar with pumps. Go used. No matter what way you go. New will not make the profits any better. You know how it goes Joe. |

I also am a poured walls contractor who went the Telebelt route for stoning drain tile and stone under basement floors. Just a thought. |

Bout anything that needs to be done in my rural area. Not much high rise stuff around here. Truck is for my own work just like the original poster is doing anything else is just gravy. Between line pump and belt it's about a hand full on top of our reg. wall work now that things have got up to speed around here. |

That is how I started 16 years ago. Now I have 3 pumps, just bought a 40 meter Alliance. Mostly doing small com. and res. work. My older pumps stay busy on our jobs and I service others with the new pump. Started with a used 32 meter and after 3 years trade for a new 36 putz. Like the Alliance a lot but they are also able to take care of my older putz. equipment which is great. It's nice to start small and stay out of debt to begin with. There are tons of hidden cost that come up that can really add up fast and take someone out of business in a hurry. Just like construction, make sure you have a good foundation and you will have something around for a long time. |
