I just got my new Mag this morning and looking at the cover made me wonder when Schwing came out with outriggers that short. I know the magazine staff would not show a shortrigging picture, would they? :quest: |

Come on, that boom is directly over the cab and deos not need to swing any further that a 15 degree arc. It certainly does not need to be off side of any outrigger. The operator however is sitting on top of the cab. |

I believe the problem is that the operator is operating his boom between two outriggers that are not fully extended. That is a very basic and very serious safety violation. :( |

Why is it that every time a new issue of the mag comes out that just a few minutes of looking can reveal at least several obvious safety issues? The ACPA is supposed to set the standard. Are they quizzing us? Do any actual pumpers help with the editing? Does any of this concern make it back to the ACPA? If it was my magazine, I would be embarrassed on a regular basis by this. Are they too afraid to have their own forum on line or in the magazine? |
