I've noticed a few threads about conveyors here lately, so I thought some of you might like this.

I had a bunch of pics saved, and some free time a few months ago, so I put this together.

Yea, I am all ready for the hate mail.

Once upon a time (1974 I think) I worked for ROTEC. It was during that time that I found out that pumps are way more cool than belts. So... nice pics; you muct be looking for www.alternativesthatarentascoolaspumps.com

Belts, like laser-screeds, transfer trucks, wall companies, flatwork and other stuff are great ways to suppliment or diversify your company. This is www.concretepumping.com  ;~)

mrmike, I setup out in the street, put the main boom behind me, and backed in. They're a little tricky sometimes, but  usually, where there's a will, there's a way.

WTF Bob, sorry if I stepped on your toes. I should have known better.

Mark tried the fast and easy way to clean bottom rollers. He started the belt and was chipping away when the belt took ahold of his arm and sucked him in. He decided, shortly there after, that perhaps he needed to change jobs and is selling cars in Jacksonville, FL. Bruce, being Bruce, started building spec houses in the mnts of AZ and lived happily ever after.

No problem, I thought you might be, but I wasn't too sure. You old guy's can be a little touchy.

I past 40 myself awhile back, so I've got to get as much mileage as I can out the "old" jokes... I'll be jokin' at my own expense before too long.

I agree with your above statement. I've done tons of jobs that pumps couldn't do, and I've recommended pumps for jobs I couldn't do. Between the two machines though, we can cover just about any pour.

Hey Bob; Dont forget Arnie Pruess!! Old school Creter Crane operator who lost 3 fingers oo his right hand trying to grease rollers that were moving at a HIGH rate of speed! I worked with him in Israel on an Israeli airbase, and he REALLY knew his belts! He said his brain& fingers took a vacation that day ,and his fingers never came back!
