A lady was killed when a clamp and a hose fell off a boom pump. It landed on the owners house roof and fell off and hit the lady in the head. She was rushed to the hospital where she died. They where pumping her driveway. OHSA is investigating. Sad mishap, this is not good for the industry |

Our prayers go out to he family and the pump company, nobody wants someone to get hurt. How very sad. |

I feel very sorry for the operator and the company but it is not as unlikely that something like this can happen.. Thats why we use safety straps.. Of course this situation is maximum bad luck... |

from what i heard, it was the the clamp that hit, not the hose. |

Hate to hear this. Accidents can and do happen..I hope all operators on here will do their part with safety straps and safety pins in clamps..inconvenient for sure but I'd say much better than this alternative. |
