I would like to know more as to why a 36 mt puttzmeister will shut its self down through operating motions - could it be a short in the harness or do the batteries in the remote expire after a certain number of charge cycles or length of time. |

There could be hundreds of reasons. I know one that is very frequent here. The battery does not maintain contact (radio). It is an aggravation. |

i had a 36 that did the same. It was the battery loosing connection with the remote. Even if it is for just a second you connection is lost. My solution was to fold a piece of paper and put it on the opposite end of the battery, so that there was more pressure againist the connection pins. Also clean your contact points and I even used 500 grit sand paper to clean them. If that is the problem there is a fix. You can send the remote to HBC and they have different connections they are using now that are much better. I had mine fixed this last june and have had no problems since. |
