Wow, its been a long time since the last job I did. I believe it was Jan 17th. We had a good snow fall this year in the Sierras, and with the construction slow down, not much has been going on. I have seen ready mix trucks starting to go out on little jobs....and today, dispatch called, I finally have a job on Tuesday. I'll go in on Monday, kick the tires, run the pump, check out the controls, do a DOT inspection, thumb thru my safety checklist (thats what Bob would do), I might even drive by and check the jobsite......

Man, that is the way to start the season. Go over your unit like a pro. Problems sure are easier to deal with in the yard & the day before the pour. Everyone needs an operator like you around. Tell your boss that I said he is lucky to have you. ;~) |

thanks for the praise Bob. After spending 25 years in the Marine Corps, I am brain washed with the importance of mission accomplishment, in a timely and orderly manner...and of course the thought of being broke down with mud in the pipes is a motivating factor by itself..... :-) |
