It is made in ROC, what exactly are you expecting?

The remote. Are they still using that pile of crap toggle base remote or can they be changed out for a hex. or omni?

Sany uses standard remote from HBC Radiomatic with the Joysticks and all other toggle switches which other pump mfg has.

As for made of ROC, what we have in States which doesn't have that lable? Even welding structure of other mfg come from there. Tell me If I am wrong.

Best way to check out the Sany's pros and Cons is to try their Demo machine. I think Sany offers free Demo unit. You can Call Sales guys and check with him.

Try it and see how it performs. I see many good features on unit which no other mfg offer.

Very simple loking remote !! looks very easy to use but there is one thing missing ! were is the frequency scanner?

Does it exist on the machine ?? Is interferance an issue??

I have seen a sany in AUST it looked ok, but i didnt like how rpm did whatever it wanted the machine would rev up or down depending on the situation !! Im not a fan of that id like to adjust the rpm and flow myself ,Im not sure I need a machine telling me what to do . I much prefer to in total control of the machine...

It has automatic frequency hopping. So operator doesn't need to change the frequency and interfenrence is no more an issue.

I am not sure about Sany Aussy remotes but for Sany Us Pump, engine rev ups and downs based on situation. Newer remotes also have manual override system, where operator can set the rpm or manually change it.

What year did they start placing those remotes onboard?

am also missing a swich for the aircuff and one for the wisp..  And how do you 'switch on' the outriggers

Dipstick 06-06-2011

Or is the on the left of the volume contr. the wisp... But than I'm missing the vibrator on the hopper. Funny how they come up with new pictures for some things. The buttons on the laft side of the remote... is that engine on/off?

Never seen a remote with so little switches..

so sany used the toggle until 2010 or was there another one? dipstick is right how do you engage the outriggers?

Dipstick 06-07-2011

Ehhh.. Let me think.. How was it again on a schwing.... O yes I remember. the switch for the outriggers is only on the panel on the truck by the hopper.. No problem with that. You have to be there anyway to operate them..

I personaly like it better to have the emergencie stop on top of the box instead of hidden somewhere under it. Much easyer to reach and easyer to find for strangers when some thing happens to the operator..

But thats not only SANY that does that. Seen many other remotes where the E-stop suddenly is not so important any more.

Some Engineer told me its because if you drop the remote the E-Stop can be pushed just by the falling force. There for E-Stops are no longer allowed to have a casing in Europe. But I still dont believe him =) our engineers loved to talk trash just to let them shine :D http://t2.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcSPZa1S6qPTJGTV0febQU4h8ftc9WcT7oybA1B2iCnWTLbuKSf5 http://www.oilybits.com/images/uploads/ELECTRICAL_CONTROL,_STOP_SWITCH.jpg

O my god... Yes... That would be a major disaster.. If the remote would drop down hard and the E stop would be pushed down automaticaly.. Can't have that can we???

That guy of yours is a real smartass...

baddogpumping,

I've seen all sany remotes 2007 and onward with joystick only. Does anyone has seen it with toggle? Is it in North America?

Dipstick,

Yes, The buttons on left sides are for engine On/Off. Estop in Sany remote located on side but it is protected similar to what CaSsE  has shown in picture.

The pump is on the west coast, year2007 and just found out that it has the original toggle box. What is the cost to change it out for a new or used Sany or can it b changed out for any wireless remote?

baddogpumping, Do you have serial # and/Or Vin# of Pump and Chassis. I can check and let you know what can be done.

I suggest switching to the manual throttle function for blowing out & water washing. Otherwise when the pump is switched from forward to reverse the rpm's drop to an idle then take a few seconds to throttle back up.

I dont care for the reducer being on the deck or the lack of elevation on the deck pipe. And the outrigger feet are very small diameter so they tear up pads & timbers easily.

Also many of the hydraulic circuts operate on an electric pilot. Including pump on/off, fwd./reverse, the aggitator, and the water pump. So if there's any sort of power loss or electrical failure you're down.
