George has been in the concrete business for a very long time and was dedicated to this industry. He is going to be missed by all of us who knew him.

He had stopped to fix something on his pump when a tractor trailer didn't see him and pinned him between the two trucks.

All my thoughts and prayers go out to George's family.

It's such a sad thing to see another one of our community taken from us.  I knew George only through others, however he will undoubtably be missed in the concrete pumping industry. 

My heart and thoughts go out to George's family as this was a completely avoidable accident and shows us that not only can we not pay enough attention to safety as operators but also have to rely on someone else paying attention.

I was saddened to hear of George's passing last week.  Life is truly precious-but the good news truly is-He did know his Lord and Savior!  I had the chance to meet him and work with him on several pump jobs/purchases and always found him to be a breth of fresh air.  Our first crossing was in Kansas following his purchase of a 42m in Ca. and I spent a week w/him "sorting" it out.  His distinctive southern drawl and manners was found to be a bit "odd" to many of my less appreciative peirs (midwest thing) while George and I decided that they were the ones that talked "funny"  All this to say knowing George was a true blessing and never miss a chance to really get to know another operator as well as our Savior-John

I was able to meet George just a little over a year ago when my husband got to work with him again and what a great man to be around. He loved his job, his family and his co-workers. This is such a sad tragedy and he is going to be missed so much. He was a funny man, could always make you laugh no matter how you were feeling. We all had some good times. My thoughts and prayers are with Debbie and the rest of George's family.
