Can anybody recommend a "green" solution to getting dry concrete splash spots off pumps.  I know muiratic (sp?) acid will work, but I am looking for something friendlier.

I used to use back set. Now I get ZEP concrete remover from Home Depot I think it is the same stuff but it works a bit faster.

http://www.prpplus.com..... It's called BIO-FOAM, it worked pretty good, but as a rule it is easier to wash the concrete off before it gets hard... lol

I agree with seed I used back-set which is "green" sugar cane based. I tried the zepconcrete remover from home depot I to believe it's a little faster,but it smells the same and is not an acid. Thank's for the tip seed it's also cheaper that backset and home depot is a lot closer Terry

Funny! I live in Maine USA. I have to pick me up some ZEP today. The truck took it a little rough last week. Terry's right, it smells just like Back Set. Definitely works a little faster!

I would spray (bubble gum) on your pump befor you start

I wonder if zep concrete remover could be used in place of form oil for a few jobs to try to get rid of some build up
