My wife was 11 days over her due date, and on friday i got the dreaded phone call at 8am in the morning saying she's in early stages of labour. i was just setting up in Hackney (London) and its a good 3hr run back to my yard in Fareham with traffic, the pour was only 160m. thankfully London concrete gave me a good supply and i left there at 3pm. i got home at 7.30pm and my wife was still having contractions. and at 11.02 saturday morning my wife gave birth to our 2nd child a gorgeous little girl named Phoebe weighing in at 8lb 4oz.    On that job my heart was pounding hoping i got a good supply and she held out til i got home, knowing i was 3hrs from home and wanting to be there for her. thankfully they both happend and i'm one proud daddy. and mother and baby are now safely at home
