I've got to re-paint my house this summer.  using the boom instead of a ladder has crossed my mind.  un-even terrain with really high roof peak.  A safety harness to attach myself to the tip (no jokes please...I'm under the weight limit for the boom), an airless sprayer and I could boom myself around my house in less time than moving a ladder/scaffold set-up.....I know - I know...hey, I'm a pumper, I've got a lot of time to think this crap up...

Lol ok you are up in the air painting and then the battery in your remote dies...then what would your other half throw you a new one or would she just leave you hanging around for a day or 2  and throw water balloons at you...lol

10-4 Many-  always bring a spare.  I was also thinking of drafting one of my pumper buddies to run the boom while I paint...I'd have to pick carefully...because I just know some of my buddies would stand the boom straight up just to listen to me scream...on second thought, I'll just bring a spare battery...

Hey raymond ,Im not blowin smoke.I built my house last year and I used 1 of our 39's and a light  wt. man basket to paint our 2 story house.I used the 3rd section, not the tip.Made sure some one was always around. It made my stomach turn at times. But it worked great.Bob;dont read this.

As an owner/operator, I will admit to using the first and second sections of my boom as a nice long angled plank to walk up and pick some pears from the top of my pear tree in the backyard.
