I´m the only pumper in whole Stockholm-area (maybe, in whole Sweden? i´m not 100% sure) who own a pumpcompany that stands for it self - i have no written agreement to any ready mix company, i´m not a puppet for any company at all. The only one who steer me, is my wife - i´m her puppet! Marriage...you know.

Every other pumper in this area is owned (employed) by a ready mix company. I believe 98 - 99 % of all Swedish pumpers, is employed by a ready mix company. The other 1 - 2 % is employed by a pumpcompany wich has a written agreement to a ready mix company.

Even if Stockholms 5 ready mix companies with their pumps (totaly about 150), is big dragons compared to my small company - they even though are my competitors. That´s why my company gets all the tricky/dirty/ pumpjobs that they don´t manage or want to do. I eat the breadcrumbs (shit) from them and make a very good living.

And best of all - all my competitors, sometimes hire my pumpservices - that´s the only way for me to get them to eat my shit, by the way overpriced pump-bills i sent to them. They allways pay the bills in right time and also say: "thank you"!! I like them all.

i am running a 2006-  34 schwing for readybeton belgium. they offered me the best conditions for pay and worktime. better then any pump-firm. and they have better (more expensif) maintenance contracts on truck and pump. so your machine is allways in perfect condition. i realy like the place i work in right now.

I also have a lot of positive feedback from the boss, if I  compare this with the pumpcompany i used to work for for 14 years, where it was never good enough never fast enough and never late enough and never early enough. and every maintenance or reparation was to "expensive".

I work for a ready mix company as well running a 32m schwing. It must be a little different here for us though because we work with the pumping outfits as well and use them when we get busy. they are from out of town but park one of their 40m in our yard so that they have a unit in the area when they need it.

I forgot to tell, a few of my competiteived ready mix companies hire me in to drive their mixertruck - when i got low of pumpjob. Sometimes i realy feel sad about my self. Pump concrete as my regular 14-hour day.

Then wash out the pump and jump in to a mixertruck, and deliver concrete to a nightpouring...in to a pump. Mostly 3 or 7 loads in the hopper - and i allways keep the hopper full!! Until early morning...Wash the drum out - wash the whole mixertruck out, and park it - remember to pick out the "creditcard" from the timewatchingbox!

Jump in to my pumplinetruck - and heading to start pumping concrete - without any sleep! Even this day is , 1:st job, 120 m (394 ft) 11 stories up. 2:nd job 60 m (197 ft) 5 stories up 3:rd job 110 m (360,8 ft) 8 stories up.

Not a bigpumpingjob - but after no sleep in 39 hour it is a struggle-work - even if a 300 ft  2"-hose 10 stories up is a simple job - it is not that simple after 43 hour working by hose-pumping - believe me, your mind do funny things with you - in best of case. If you are a controlfreak like me - try work 45 hours whitout stop. If your not. Do work your 8 hour! I don´t recomend anyone to work that much hour that i do - i´m a pumpcompanyonwer and my disease is called "can´t say no to work". Don´t try to work more as i do - you will loose, and in best of case - you don´t hurt your self. An unsleept body is a zombie. As my wife sometimes call me
