Hope you are all ok. I know we have a few members of ConcretePumping.com down there. Hope you are all ok. One of New Zealand's largest cities lay in ruins Tuesday night after a powerful earthquake killed at least 65 people, toppled buildings and left scores trapped beneath chunks of concrete.

There is a national emergency declared. 75 confirmed dead so far. Lots of people still trapped in collapsed buildings. 300 people missing. Most of the central city is totally destroyed. They did not know that the city was on a faultline until the September quake. Most of the buildings in Christchurch have little or no earthquake proofing.
