Reed was very careful when they built your pump. They put guards over moving or rotating parts so that you would not get injured. Soooooooooo. Please put a guard over the lovejoy coupling. Looks good. Between not and next winter you will need a program in place to drain that system so as to prevent freeze damage. |

good point Bob, I will have the mech fab a nice cover over the moving parts. I could see my trousers or shirt sleeve getting caught on the roller. Regarding the freezing, I have a nice drain plug directly below the pump on the bottom of the tank. I have to winterize after every job from about late Oct to mid April.... |

by the way, you can get the water pump and the hydraulic motor in a packaged deal now from hypro dealerships....such as Rittenhouse for $487.00, that is a steal. |
