When I walked out to my truck this morning, I found a nice yellow baggy attached to my mirror with POLICE on it. I found a city ordance viloation warning inside.  Apperenty I cant park my F550 at my house and I cant have a trailer (Pump).  So I knew about the trailers, he did not even mention the no tag issue.  I was gonna store the pump last night but decided the hell with it, I was tired.  Apperently my truck is commerical?  I know most trailer pump guys pull with a 250 or 350 reg pickup.  Even still the 550 is reg at 19K on reg plates.  Also I dont need a CDL to drive it.  The regastration even says pickup on it.  So what gives?  Any one else have problems like this?  

To add insult to injury, I was about run down yesterday morning by a school bus doing about 70 in a 30 pulling out of my driveway.

I live in the comm...I mean wonderful city of Cape Coral.  Out where I live for the most part no one cares about anything.  But the rules are the same in South Cape, where all the money is.  And as much as I dont want to go to work tomorrow, I have a 5 am pour and 11 am grout, which means I have to get up at 0130, in just a few short hours.  I now have to get up 30 mins more to go get the dam truck, which is parked on a commerically zoned lot owned by our scaffolding guy.  Still gonna fight this

And to tell the truth, I have only ever seen a gator swimming in a canal.  Never even seen on laying on a bank.  I am really upset about that.

Did some research and made some calls, I am fine to park it here as long as I have no trailers.  The twit that wrote the voliation was wrong.  And no, now my ass hole hurts.....

Problem with starting early is the day before is a late day.  So you get up late, only work a little, then have to be in bed early and cant sleep.  If I dont work almost 15 hours a day, I cant sleep well.

So apperently this is now the word, that because it has tool boxes on it, its commerical.  Therefore I cant park it at my house, unless its in my garage....which I cant even park my Suburban in when its empty.  I think I will move to a less commie area.

Do i understand you correctly, that you are not allowed to park a companycar/pickup at your parkingspace? That sounds weird to me. I thought that Sweden was the most lawidiot country in the world, but apparently not. Here is mixertrucks, dumptrucks, pickuptrucks, vans or any wehicle at all, parking outside were the drivers lives - and noone cares.

Your correct.  If it did has say a reg bed on it or flat bed, it would be fine to park, but because it has the Tool box bed on it, its not.  Its not commerical in any way, but that is what the city thinks is commerical.  Spoke with the code officer today, and he said that they are tired of the BS laws the city has and that they even went before the board to have some of them dropped.  And he also said that they try not to write tickets until someone complains.  So someone complained.  Now I am going to get a similar reg pickup, stack it, and make it smoke like hell and be as loud as a chopper.  Stupid rich people.
