That's Funny Local 3! That is one clean hopper!!!! I would like to read a written documentary of how it is you achieve your standard. Today I was asked if anyone ever makes fun of me because my truck is so clean. A few weeks ago I was asked if I work the machine or just clean it? Next to yours mine is destroyed!! You have to be one of THE MASTERS! I worked with a guy that would pump concrete in shorts and sandals? He and his truck were always SPOTLESS!!  You should put a topic in Useful Articles!

I was trained by an operator named Joe Mullins, and that is what his truck always looked like. When I was with him, his 42m was about 7 years old and looked brand new. Its all about effort. Ill be willing to bet that OE3's house is just as clean. Its not the just the pump thats clean, its the operator lifestyle.

 Please tell us what your cleaning routine is,that truck looks brand new.

Your hired, hay thats what its all about.

Your getting that type of response from other operators not the bone head office I hope or a barn cleaning mixer driver?

I did buy one of our ops a bucket of alum polish and Canuba wax that he could spray through the steam power wash, but its not 7 years old yet.

Thanks for all the compliments guys! I did go see a shrink this morning and he put me on pumpers prozac, twice a day (LOL) no... just kidding. I can put something together if you like about my cleaning routine as asked, and share some secrets.

If a mfg' cared they would polish

the metal inside the hopper.

OE-3 & Vasa have some very correct hoppers.

When I hear the lame ass excuses from most ops it makes me sad.

My hopper was always clean

But never THAT CLEAN ;~)

It is hard for me to evan beleave that concrete goes into those hoppers! Man I can not beleave how clean they are! I NEED to know your techniques!

How often do you guys have to rush through your work? Do you ever get done pumping and then you are on the road 12 minutes later?
