there is a very good chance you would make better money working for a good established company.

if you have 20% to put down on a pump use it to buy gold or silver a lot less stress

I think your best bet at finding this info is to call Alliance concrete pumps and ask them, they do this all the time. Concord is another company that could help you. Both have links on the right side of this web page. Best of luck.

do you have any experience operating and maintaining a concrete pump?

if not. stay away from it it will kill you financialy and if you get unlucky even fisicaly.

if it is a used pump take someone with you who has knowlege about pumps.

is it a boompump or a line-pump?

a used concrete pump can be a bottomless pit.

there is much information missing here.

I dont know anything about getting a pump from Canada but to speak to all the "negitive" comments. I bought a pump used 5 years ago and went out on my own with really no pumping experience. I did work for a concrete company for almost 10 years and worked with and around concrete pumping. It has been real tough to keep going with the downturn as well as the lack of experience. Make sure you have a good plan with a focus on saftey and maintenance. This website offers a lot of help and information but things have been difficult in our industry and thats the negitivity. Good luck.

What size of pump are you looking for? Be sure to ask for a maintenence history if the company has one on a particular unit you are interested in. Check out boom inspections and CVI's.

These guys are right about pumps costing you big bucks, if you want to pump concrete and make a little start out with a good line pump, stay away from Boom Pumps, just remember what we told you.
