I been thinking about adding a onboard air compressor for my line pump. Does anyone have one that runs a chipping gun ? If so which model and make .

Also what's a good water pump for good pressure and durability and price

I did a thread on here on an air compressor that i mounted on my trailer pump. The set up i have is what a lot of off roaders use to air up tires and run air tools. I use it all the time to blow out my lines and sometimes use it for tools and my chipping gun right now im trying to get a water tank like what the mixers use to mount on my truck. The only set back to the set up i use is i have to put oil in my compressor every few weeks to a month depending on how much i use it.

Last post has the aire figured out.On the water side I mounted a 250 gal. tank with a 2" pvc pipe to the pump hopper. It has a ball valvefor quick dumpto fill the hopper to water wash pipe/hose with a pig. Also have a Dewalt 4000 psi pressure washer to clean up hopper hoses etc. I hate having to rely the rm truck for water. I also carry 300' of garden hose on a reel if needed.

Honda "Roll Air" gas, all around great compressor. Wish i would have bought one. i went with a menards electric piece of crap.

a good compressor will get you out of lots of different kinds of trouble!!!

pumpslut, do you do shotcrete with that unit as well? seems like the compressor is suited for that

thats what it was set up for. and it does lots of it. its a great machine.
