Chains? I have been running pumps for 27 years, safety pins and safety straps are what I have always used. Chains are for pulling concrete trucks out of the mudd.LOL.

Wait, in the one night picture, are you booming over traffic to pour that deck, that tractor trailer looks to be driving on one side of the bridge under the boom. Not bashing you but I thought that was a huge no no.

chains are for hoses when hanging pipes in your 27 years if you havent pulled a hose apartthen i guess 27 is just a number because it can happen

In 27 years I have learned that straps are good for 1200lbs 1 20ft 4" is around 130lbs, no I have never pulled an end out of a hose, I use good equipment..

Where is this place that ur pumping at???You must not have any saftey poeple in that area.I guess it doesn't matter how many years a person has been pumping they always forget to do whats safe. Not bashing because if something bad ever happens you'll get that from your boos. You'll never b able todo those things if/when Bill is home based at your office, nor would Charlie ever go for it.Be SAFE my friend, your family depends on you.

Wolfman just wondering what it is that you think is so unsafe?

For one, I wouldn't boom over that right front outrigger the way your pad is, it isn't even level.  How hard is it to throw a pad under your other outriggers on the other side?  Your cribbing pad is not level either causing your outrigger pad to not be level.  At least your trimmie pipe is strapped.  Don't let Bob see these!!!
