Maschmeyer Concrete Company of Florida, a leading independent ready mixed concrete producer, is

pleased to announce the acquisition of Inland Materials and Inland Block and Supply, a concrete products

producer and building materials dealer with five locations serving the Greater Orlando and Volusia County

marketplace.

Maschmeyer, which has provided its customers in Southeast Florida with quality and service for over 23

years, views the acquisition of central Florida’s Inland companies as a natural next step in the company’s

growth.

Company owner Troy Maschmeyer comments, “Our family owned and operated companies share a history

of delivering exceptional quality and service to valued customers. We plan to uphold that tradition as we

enter the central Florida marketplace.”

With the acquisition of Inland, Maschmeyer now operates eight ready mixed concrete plants, a portable

plant division, a concrete block operation, a rebar fabrication division, and a fleet of over 130 delivery

trucks.

The newly acquired concrete plants will operate under the Maschmeyer Concrete name as the Inland

Division.

Vince Murphy, recently appointed President of Maschmeyer Inland Division, offers, “We are excited about

joining the Maschmeyer family of companies. This opportunity provides us with a more competitive position

in Florida and the ability to further expand our mission to be the supplier of choice for the customers we

serve.”

Since 1948, Maschmeyer Concrete has earned the reputation of making it easy for customers to do

business with the company while providing a superior work atmosphere for its team members.

I wonder if they will keep the front discharge mixers now? They were the only company around that has them. Inland been around for 30 years that i know of, never heard of Maschmeyer.

I USE TO LOVE POURING WITH MASCHMEYER. I POURED A MAJORITY OF THE HOUSES OUT THERE IN THE LOXAHATCHEE AREA.  THE FIRST TIME I POURED WITH A FRONT END MIXER WAS WITH MASCHMEYER. WHEN HE PULLED UP TO THE PUMP, I WAS LIKE WOW WOW WOW, BECAUSE HIS DRUM WAS SPINNING THE OPPOSITE WAY. I THOUGHT HE WAS GOING TO MESS MY PRIME UP.  I SOON REALIZED THE DRUM SPINS THE OPPOSITE ON ONE OF THOSE. HA HA. HE THOUGHT IT WAS PRETTY FUNNY.

Is this Lehigh/Heidelberg Inland who aquiered Maschmeyer?  Inland/Ocean are huge in western Canada, always a top notch outfit and sounds like they got a little bigger.

NcPumper that is funny.  never seen a front end mixer

NC pumper, did you work for pumpco or ESi in the tampa area?  Which part of NC did you relocate to?  I spent two months last year [not pumping] in Banner Elk next to Boone.  Some of the nicest most interesting people I've ever met.  I would move there tomorrow if I could.

NO I WORKED FOR HFK CORP, WHICH MY FATHER STARTED, SMALLER COMPANY OUT OF HOLLYWOOD, FL. I RELOCATED ABOUT 3 YEARS AGO. I BROUGHT THE COMPANY UP HERE. THATS CRAZY YOU MENTIONED BANNER ELK. I PROVIDE ALL THE PUMPING THROUGH BANNER ELK TO BOONE AND BLOWING ROCK. YOU CAN CALL ME ANYTIME IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO RELOCATE. I CANT GUARANTEE ANYTHING BUT WE DO HOLD OUR OWN.

I would love to move there but me and the wife have really good jobs here, so its just a dream,  did you pump the eight-plex buildings for Kent construction in banner elk?  Kent is a very close family friend from Florida.  He is selling some units up there so looks like you will have about twelve more eight-plexes to pump.  Thanks for the offer, but I cant leave this area also because I came back from South Carolina because of a very sick father.  You are lucky to be there, I have been to all the lower 48 and I have to say your area is in the top three in the whole country.

WE'LL IF YOU EVER DO THINK ABOUT, JUST CALL ME. WINTER TIME IS COMING TOO, SO WE MIGHT SLOW DOWN ANYWAY. KENT CONSTRUCTION HUH? THEY MIGHT HAVE BUILT THOSE BEFORE I CAME UP HERE. THERE MIGHT HAVE EVEN BEEN AN OUTSIDE COMPANY PUMP THOSE. YOU KNOW ITS LIKE EVERYTHING HAS ITS GOOD'S AND ITS BADS. THE MOUNTAINS ARE BEAUTIFUL, THE AIR IS GREAT, THE PEOPLE ARE FRIENDLY. BUT THE COMPETITION HAS JUST DESTROYED THE MARKET BELOW THE $100 MARK.
