I used to mix the prime in the hopper with the S tube shifting but now I use the priming port. Both methods work good I just prefer using the port now. |

It's all philosophy of the manufacturer,some use,some don't.As being more schwing familiar I have not thought about using one,as with all things,trial and error. |

Prime port on a reducer of a trailerpump.. Sounds good but the reducer would have to stand a bit upwards otherwize the water just runs in to the pipes?? |

On a trailer pump angle the reducer down and let your prime run into the first pipe or hose. Have a sponge or paper wad in the start of the 2nd pc. of pipe. I use betonite so I don't want it in the hopper. Once again I'm new to line pumping,only have Telebelt experience. Terry |
