Sorry peewee but we'd be having words over something like that. Besides what would your pump think if she knew you was out whorin around with some little trailor trash unit on the weekends? I'll bet she'd buck & snort a bit, probably make your work days a nightmare til you got your head strait! And what kind of special pumps are you guys running that cant do line pump jobs? Who the heck needs a trailor! I say keep the line jobs and stay faithful, they're all line pumps some just have booms on their back that's all??? Moonlighting Traitor Trailor Trash! jus kiddin! |

That's a bad idea unless you can make it own your own so if your weekday boss gets mad be ready to start your own business. |

Hey peewee I really was just kidding, you're not a traitor. It may be viewed a little differently in better times with more work to be had. If you were doing this because there were more jobs to be done than there were operators and pumps it would be a bit more acceptable, but that's not the case these days. Just be careful not to piss off the guy that's been signing your paycheck, especially if you've been working full time and getting 40 hrs. If you're not getting enough hours and you have the bosses blessing then Pump On! A man's gotta eat. |

I would talk to your boss about purchasing a line pump if he is turning that much work away or line pumping with your booms, it has to be hard givin it away right now. |

i agree don't make the man with money mad. but at the same time i agree booms are really big trailer pumps. just leave the boom in place and come straight off the back then everyone is happy you still get paid the company gets paid and you work on your everyday rig. |

i see both side... a man has to survive... in this day and age money is money and if your boss is not going to supply the work go get work... what if you owned your own pump it would be the same difference. but you rent it same shit |
