PUMBO | 07-21-2009 | reply profile send pm notify | |||
How you guys after so many years on the job still insist on a steel belted end hose is beyond me. Those 85 Bar steel end hoses should only be used to hook boom to a static line. Otherwise you should be sourcing textile reinforced much safer, lighter rated lower pressure but a drop hose is just that a, A DROP HOSE! |

Yeah reg everest ! Rob smiled !!! Hmm i thought i was going to be killed when he smiled , i flinched then stood there in orr cant remember ever seening him smile .. then he went back to his usuall self and jumped on the ride on! PUMBO i hate rags! if you can tell me why there safer im all ears , rags dont last long , as soon as you get 3000m3 in them you cant suck a spoonge through them, there floppy and harder to push , i cant see anything good about them , but like i said if you know why there safer im all ears .... ( I dont mean to sound like a smart arse) :) |

If you don't like the floppy textile hoses you should look at some Kevlar reinforced hoses. |

had a 4.5 inch drop hose from con-forms. kept a log on my yardage and got an honest 52,000 before it wore a hole in the rubber 6" down from the clamp. Always had a steady full hose, and sucked a sponge threw it everyday. never any problems and the crews loved it. |
