Look man we got to be nicer to the newbies.  I get back from Church and all I see is a few guys bagging on shendren. So we deleted them and I hope we don’t have to deal with that again.

It made me sick that we would treat a fellow operator that way. This is not a site for elites that hate those who know less than themselves. If you cant be nice stay away.

I am sorry shendren it wont happen again and if it does I will  ban anyone who is being mean. DON’T BE MEAN. (except for Bob because he cant help himself and he is normally only mean to me)

oh and i did not read all the post but pumpnfinish be nice ok. I think you got everyone going. I have never seen anything like it on this site before. Raymond and Bob you guys stood up well and a few of the other guys were nice but over all i was ashamed of this site. I would like to apologies for the way everything went down.

guys. i'm not an operator. i own a concrete contracting company. i don't pump for a living. you have a bunch of blow hards here. i asked a couple of yes / no  questions and got a bunch of sarcastic, antagonistic, egotistic remarks. good luck.

Dont take that as normal, we have a bunch of new members who dont really know much about this site or how it works. We work very hard at helping those who dont know. We have a free Concrete Pump Mechanic who help you trouble shoot. We have many experts who help out for free. Dont let todays poor example end up costing you more than it has to. Ask your questions again and see how it goes ok.

Yes please don't take a couple of people as the "NORM" here ,As that is not the case I too was embarrassed by their remarks to the point that I could not even respond.This place is a GREAT place to gather information. The site has made me a 1000x's safer of an operator.And the majority of the people are here to help one another out,If I can help in any way ( I doubt it) I will do my best!!..Although I am just a lowly operator.

Without a doubt I "" took off "" on shendren.    For HOW I said it I am sorry.

My initial post was only after four  posts by shendren, how to clean, how to prime, how to use air to clean lines on a new machine, and losing a remote.   In my opinion ( not of an expert, but a pump operator out there every day ) this was and is a fella headed for trouble.

Less than 48 hours earlier I spoke with Todd on the phone about these very issues, training, safety, pricing, lack of leadership in industry.  There seemed to be agreement between the two of us.

I've said to you ( Todd ), to Bob, and others on this site, although I don't always agree with what is said I do read it often to get different opinions and to learn, yes a lowly operator I am, still learning.

Again, I'm sorry for how I said it, but stand by my comments.  If that stance gets me banned then so be it!!

P. S.   Especially in this current environment, I'm still confused by shendren's  comment that he pumps 40,00 yards a year and couldn't find anyone to pump it.   I would venture a opinion that there a more than a few booms out there that aren't touching that much yardage a year, let alone a trailer !!!!!!

WOW !! you are all sounding like women... All new pump operators will swear they are the best operator EVER ! You know, the chest out like a chicken! For safety reasons you need to take them under your wing and remind them about power lines, no exceptions to short rigging, and how to get their ball back, ha,ha,only joking... no really, how bout some constructive positive issues to those who think they know it all...More on "BOOM SAFETY"Basic Boom & Pump Troubleshooting for less down time at the job site (by-pssing, E-stops, Hoses, Etc.) Face it guys when it comes to concrete labor, being a concrete pump operator is the cream of the crop, the pay, job security (not many men can run a pump properly,if at all) the hardwire is gone,what more can you ask for? ("ok ,do not answer that, LOL ") remember we are all in this industry together,right now with the ecomony the way it is we all need to have each others back. Lets get this industry strong again and lets make some MONEY BOYS!!!

Quickly Bob, I will not get into what they do, I will say that Schwing uses a rock valve "M" "E" or "B", Putz, Concord etc have a S-Tube Big mouth, New style or chromed. How did I do? Now see how easy this is, we are all friends talking about concrete pumps. Amazing as it sounds someone out there just learned something. YEAH!

Bob correct me if I am wrong, were you acting like a typical operator when asking the question regarding rock or S vavle? I took it as that and Me being a women and all in a mans industry instantly jumped straight to defense, typical women, sorry! Were you picking my brain to get me to talk so you could see if I had an opinion or to see if I was just being a "?what a be?" I like your style, not many people make me actually think about the question and anwser.
