If anyone is looking to re-truck a unit or lookng at a new unit, we have a few brand new non-emission truck chassis in our fleet stock for sale, 3 axel and twin steer, these are from pump units sold without the trucks for export this past year, as many places do not want USA trucks.  the specs are common universal pump truck chassis as they were delivered from the factory.

Yea Bob. Know all about the dis mounting thing. Had many cases where we had to dis mount used equipment as the trucks were not even permitted in some areas. Plus in some cases the truck creates a huge tax issue and cost when it lands. The actual pump is no problem.

 Maybe someday we'll pull up to the job and shut the truck off and plug the pump into a power outlet? Man that sure would be easy on the ears! Electric powered trailer pumps and placing booms have been around for a long time, Maybe someday we'll see an electric powered truck mounted pump? Less fuel costs, no emissions?

TT - You should be working as an engineer for one of the big guys.

TT , I have seen boompumps with electricdriven pumpunit and boom . And how many pumps are in little Sweden ? ;-)

The last one was on a drawing , with a big wheel to take the electricalcabel ! First I ask if it was for 1,5" or 2" hose so You could reel it in under the pumping and the last pump it clean with water !

  I have thought of an electric pump for a long time. 12 years ago I did a job at Boeing. It was a 1000+ yd machine footing inside of the building. Even though there was plenty of room we could'nt put a pump inside because of the exhaust and noise. We had 2 large line pumps outside, with 300' of pipe. We pulled (2) 32m detach placing booms inside and set them up and shut them off. We plumbed the delivery system into the deck pipe of the 32s, then we switched the booms over to the 3phase 480 power packs while they were still attched to the trucks. It was like an indoor placing boom job and the indoor trucks and pumps were only there for support... Literally!  Double pumps being double pumped!

  Ever since, I have imagined a quiet, super efficient, all electric concrete pump. We've been using electric powered pumps and booms for years, why not combine the two? For the proper application of course.  

Bob it was for ,mostly tunnels and indoors pumping....

But I have seen 2 "homemade" 24-4 hallpumps with electric , who can choose to drive on diesel or electric power....

So many years ago so I don´t have any pic but i will do some phonecalls and see what We will find !

Once upon a time you used to be able to stick a vehicle exhaust inside a stack vent [like in a truck shop] and run the truck all day long. I have no idea if that is still a viable program with all the new GREEN crap that they must now put on trucks.

Another thing that worries me is; 'will all that stuff still work in 5 years?' How long will the new GREEN engines last without BIG $$$ repairs for all the add on junk?
