What is up with handing all your change back in one lump? Who had this idea? And unless you want to count it you must just take their word for how much you get back? What started all this tacky behavior? I will tell you. People that can not add, subtract, multiply or divide. Now since they are “arithmetically challenged” it is a sure bet that they can not count back change. It is a lost art. One more thing that we as humans no longer do; or in most cases, can do. And every time some brain damaged person hands me $7.84 in a big wad and tells me to have a nice day… I want to commit a felony on their person. Is it just me? I hope so. ;~) |

I agree, in our school the younger grades were allowed to bring calc's to class because the class was to large to get the days work done. So give the kids calc's and this will speed things up. GRR. |

If you really want to short-cycle one of these mental midgets; wait until the transaction is almost complete and they have entered their factors in their mechanical brain and then hand them a sufficient number of pennies to get to the next unit of coinage. They freak, I like it. ;~) |

Most of those who don't "count the money out", are most likely, products of America's public school systems and can't count..... |
