Bought 9-3" HD Hose 12ft Textile form CRS PUMP PARTS and we only were able to get one use out of three of the hoses we had one rub through from rubbing on the precast, the other two had gotten scratched with wire and wore through. Spoke to the salesperson and he was going to see what he could do. A week went by with no response I called back left a message for him and still no response. I would strongly recommend not buying these hoses!!! |

I do not know everything but I do know that you can wear out any hose in just one use if you let it rub on something. The best hose in the world will do what this did. I have had operators destroy hose in just 60 yards and in no way was it the hoses fault. This hose did not wear out from the inside but the outside due to operator error. I do not think anyone will see it any other way. I could be wrong but I dont think so. If my operator came back and said this hose is junk look at it, once i looked at it I would have to fire someone or at least repremand them and not blame the hose.

Ok Schep I just found out you guys are kind of new to concrete pumping. What happen to you guys happens to us all, now you also have a story to tell about how you bought a new hose and destroyed it in one day. There are many things you can do to lower your surge of the hose (rubbing) and there are things you can do to protect your hose when it does rub. I have done what you did and so has many others, part of joining the club but one thing seems for sure, it was not bad hose. |

100% operator error. Protect your investment those things are not cheap. That is your fault or your guys not CRS PUMP PARTS. i Can pretty much guarentee that hose was surging all day bent over a grade beam. same thing will happen on rebar or anyother abrasive surface. sheets of wood under the hose or anything else that will prevent such a costly mistake. |

Now you can cut those bad parts out, slit the hose and wrap it around the good parts of the hose that are rubbing on areas. |

Hi, this is Josh from crspumpparts.com I received a call from this customer a couple of weeks ago about a problem he was having with this hose. While talking with him on the phone, he sent pictures of the damaged hoses. Looking at them with him, I explained that we have sold these hoses over the past five years without any issues and because it looks like the damage to the hoses is external, there was not much I or the manufacturer could do for him. I offered at that time, if he would like to return the hoses to CRS, I would forward them to the manufacturer for evaluation. Thanks, -Josh, crspumpparts.com |

Operators fault and nobody else's. First day pumping? Hope you made a lot of money off that job, so you can afford new hoses. |

I had a simular issue this year with my 2.5" hoses. Brand new and i chewed up two hoses, they were not purchased from CRS but wow, my other hoses were 4 years old and had no issues. I think there is a brand or hose now with very soft outsides. CRS and others only sell they don't make the hoses. My old ones were conforms i don't know who made the new ones. |
