We started the pour at 6am, I was folding up the 58M by 11:30am after pumping somewhere in the neighbourhood of 300 meters. The 50M pump made a move and continued pumping until well after 5pm (ready-mix service became an issue in the afternoon) The 40M pump was done at around 3PM.
The pour rate was 120 meters per hour between all 3 pumps (2 trucks at a time for myself and the 50M, and only one truck at a time was able to access the 40M pump.
Poured a 6 inch layer of waterproof mix in the bottom of the slab, toped up the remaining with regular mud. Was nice to get an early start as the temperature eventually got up near 100 later in the afternoon.
The dunnage pads in the pic. are similar to Dica's (which we also have a set of), although Dica's have a much nicer non-slip finish to them. |

I find the waterproof mix to be sticky as hell, really gets the boom bouncing... even with the EBC activated. On a positive note, the waterproofing does seem to act as a retardant... which is just fine with me on these hot summer days.
The 40M was formerly part of Able's fleet, My understanding is that it was provided as a loaner from pump Concord. |

the retarder is what i loved, had one load in my hopper that got to 4 n half hrs old and came out of the hopper with no baring. and yah its sticky. must take forever if you wanted to drain your 5th section and hose in the 58M. that aircuff must be nice. i seen two of ables former concords in 'Used Pumps'. heard they got outta the ?lease/loaner? agreement with concord to ?buy/lease? some new KCPs. dont know any facts but if the price is right, why not eh?
