Pumping rpms

Ok so mixed reviews at what rpms do you guys pump at. Our 36 putz we were told to run at 1200 max rpm in top gear. I drop it down a gear if pumping harsh mix. And our alliance I was told to run in 7 high range. At 1200 rpm. I have found pumping high volume at 1200 rpm she starts to roll coal. So bumping rpms to let's say 1500 the turbo sounds crisp and the smoke goes away. But she drinks the fuel. If I have a big long pour 400 meters let's say I have to really watch the rpms to save on fuel so I can make it back home. As I have no reserve on the alliance. What do you guys do to avoid this |
