Looking around trying to do some homework on possibly purchasing some pumps. I know Schwing and Putz are the leaders but never been around these. Any input would be appreciated. What is your pesonal experiance? Thanks

ive run shwing putz and sermac, like them all and are good pumps, prefer a putz, seems to be the most operator friendly, ill leave you with this... you get what you pay for

I hear that as far as getting what you pay for. I've only been around mainly schwings and a little round putz but being I've never been around the others, I wanted to ask what they were like. Thanks

Hey Xforce1

We have been running almost everything in the market and the best luck we have had new or used are our KCP's. We are going on 3 years now and they pump just as good as the Putz or Schwing and very, very reliable. Something to consider!

Advice

Do not get caught up in buying brand. Last time I looked they all have lost majority of there value.

Pumpstar did not go broke so do not beleive what you hear. Blue Teecorp owned Pumpstar before they closed.

You can get all the parts you want just let me know if you buy one and I will help you get parts. 678-855-1730

They will pump Mixes that will blow your mind.

Pumpstar did close December 31, 2009 Blue Tee could buy any of these manufactures and still have plenty of money but they invest in money makng buisneeses and money.

You can find good used Pumpstar for good price and get all the parts you want. But if you dont advertise in certain places people throw you under the bus.

If I was in the pumping buisness I would like to have compition that had the famous brand names on them and I am sure most of them owe so much money they will never get out.

If I was buying new Concrete pump I would look at Concord.

Irving EQ. in Ohio is the dealer for Concord in all the US. They came from the crane industry and I would buy a new Concord from the Irvings in a second. They are stocking parts in the USA and have service and people that know the pumps. Family owned they will take care of you. And I have not looked in there check book but i have learned they have plenty of resorses to be able to take care of you.

I have got to know them from doing some other buisness and they are class A American family.

If you want to buy a pump and know you will be taken care of buy Concord fromIrving EQ.

PUMPSTAR FYI PUMPSTAR DID NOT GO DOWN.Blue Tee Corp. owner of Pumpstar stopped manufacturing Dec. 31 2009. So to make it clear they decided there was no money to be made in pump manufacturing and sales were almost impossible to get unless manufacture recourse the note.Putting people in new pumps that did not have good enough credit to buy pick up truck. And we wonder why prices in pumping is the way it is. Being business men that go to work to make money decided to let the other manufactures show how to make money in this industry. As we have seen one manufacture just came out of chapter 11 and other ones borrowing and borrowing from there companies out of the country. PARTS YES YOU CAN GET PARTS AND IF YOU NEED HELP CALL 678-855-1730

if your looking for some cheap pumps, I know someone who is selling a bunch of old elbas. (Mid 80's). All of them pump concrete. Theres a 32, 34, 36 meter. A couple Schwing trailer pumps, probably more too.
