i have a putzmeister 52-5 year 2006 the problem is it keeps eating volume control coils ive had one a year it starts off when i wash out i turn the switch on the control panel over to the back switch panel to wash out with soon as i put it in pump it goes very slow minimum oil the next morning i set up and soon as i pump the first load of concrete i move the boom and the pump goes to maxium oil (flat out) this happens with any lever of the remote i touch i let go of the lever and the pump goes back to normal move the boom again the pump goes flat out again and so no and so on when i cannge the volume control coil it cures it untill next time how do i check the millieamps going to the coil which wire do i test on the hawe control card and how do i ajust to get the right settings as im starting to get fed up with this problem big boom full stretch full oil when moving boom concrete gang think your messing about its not funny any more thanks in advance |

I hate to say this but i think you have a diode issue. Have you welded on the unit without unplugging the battery's?
The coil loss and operation from multiple places points to the diode board. Check the diode that protects the volume control. when they fuse you can get some truly weird issues.
Also confirm the ground for the combi box. |

E-Mail me direct and I can send you the procedure for testing the Card.
Also unplug the coil and operate the unit manually to ensure it is not a hydraulic issue. If the POH is getting a signal it can mess with volume
