I've been pumping for a year I got a line pump tk 50. the remote seems to loose signal when i go below a certian elevation even if im twenty feet away, but straight ahead it will pump with no problem as far as a block away. I got a new battery for $180. and still the same thing.

What's the brand name on the remote? We have had the same problem with remotes from a manufacturer. It maybe the same remote type.

Mount the receiver in a different location.  Maybe something's obstructing the signal coming from below.

need a little more info had a hbc boom remote you had to keep line of sight with or it would lose signal need to know location of your transmitter a pic would help

I had that problem but mine was when I went high. Could be 400+ feet away on the ground or elevated slabs, but lost signal when Id get to about 180 feet up. Had to do a few pours from a floor below just to keep signal. Sent the remote in to be checked twice, ended up being something inside the remote box itself. the funny part is what Jimmy said about it.

it is a hbc, the reciever is under the blue engine cover but i put a new antenna on top.

I would definitely move my antennae to the top of my pump it is kind of hidden put it out in the open should help.

my bad didnt read your post with the pic,sometimes if your transmitter struggles to find the reciever it weakens your signal strength that I would send it in and have it checked.

We had the same trouble with our tbelt. You couldn't get more than 20 ft or so away and it would loose signal. I called Putz and they said something was wrong in the reciever. Sent it in and they worked their magic and walla fixed. Call radio repair and ask. They will send you a loaner remote while you send yours in.
