The show in Bauma is bigger and better then ever. The world wide equipment manufactures continue to introduce new technology and products. Although it is evident that the economy has many in a downsize mode and the smaller pump manufactures are absent from the show.  It is very apparent that there is a redirection for the industry in manufacturing as new well capitalized leaders are emerging.

The recent volcanic events restricting the air travel to this part of the region has made a major impact to the show attendance.  I have spoken too many who have driven or have been forced to take a train from countries that are allowing air travel into from regions as far as a two day travel time.

According to the news here in Munich this morning they seem to be opening up the airports a little more each day.
