What's the first picture signify? Did you prime with grout and that's the disposal (or maybe re-use?) truck? Add the grout back into the 3rd load of mud?

I.C. Thanks. How'd the prime go? That's a lot of system. I'd think that it would have to be a very creamy grout with LOTS of powder to slick up that much line. For me, with 200 feet of 3" system, it's pretty damn dry by the time the first stuff comes out. I found my last prime with bentonite to be better, actually.

100, gallons of water and 2yds of 10 sack grout, straight cement,,,  Rick,    240 to 29o bar going in the hopper at a 7" slump,,   5" on the receiving end!!!

It's a nice job for a line job off the tip.  You gotta get it done somehow.  Will it may not be the most impressive job out there with multiple booms for the WOW factor, in the end, it's about putting the mud down safely and effectively.  The logistics involved in handling all that line (set-up and clean-up) and priming it, while beingmundane are still quite a feat.  Bridge mixes are notoriously difficult to deal with, not much consideration is given to pumpability.  Thankfully, they are after a quick strength gain, so that works in the pumper's favor - can't get that without cement powder, and that is 1/2 of what makes concrete pump, the other being good ol' H2O. (aggregate gradation, especially the sand,comes into play too.
