I i been looking through some of my old pics and noticed some bad things. Things like pads not being used on the non working side 1 - 1 rule being ignored without proper dunage or even those 3 piece pads on the schwings not being used right. While i was being trained i was exposed to some pretty sloppy practices and i was wondering is this a common occurance i know this will probly be a thread that no body will come out and say they did or was involved in something that was wrong.

support stabilizer plates must always be used because they work you never know .... a distraction can be fatal and always best to stay calm 3 minutes more and do better damage

i've seen 32m set up with no outriggers all the way out twice in my time as well as 47s outrigger just completely smash thru 3padded system due to sewerage pump beneath ground and yes bad habit do rub of when i learned to wash out arock valve every one used there hand in there, needless to say so did i until i lost 3 fingers.

wow boony , you paid a heavy price for that cleanout practice. Sorry to hear you had to loose some digits to learn it .But you are not alone, Ive met two operators with missing fingers that tried the same clean out as you did.

I once worked on a standard 32m that only had one working front outrigger, and the rears were removed for what ever reason , yet the operator still pumped with it . LOL not sure if he used it as a trailor pump or a boom. he never told me. I was just shocked at the amout of repairs this pump needed to actually be safe and work properly. Yet it went out every day , till I got there to do the repairs.
