well i got an 8 day journey out of town for 8 days to do shotcreek gotta pump over 3 hundred yars of concrete on the side of a sttep ass hill........and i've never done that before and i could use some advise from my fellow pumpers .... hit me up  kinda stressing about it

SHOTCRETE! This stuff is some hot mud! Usuallt 8 04 9 sack 3/8s. I dont know how far you are pushing this stuff but its generally around a 2in. slump. If they are using a 2in nozzle I would recommend that you have all your reductions at the pump. Meaning dont run 2.5in and reduce to 2in further down the line. I have pumped a lot of this stuff if you have any questions just ask. Good luck!

went to a job tuesday night pumping shotcrete with my 65 on the 16th floor doing a pool.  my boss called the ready-mix co. and made the mix up and it pumped like butter. way to go big guy.  only pumped for 40 minutes and still had build up.  hot stuff....

100% natural sand and air.  manufactured sand blends if not the right ratios can be an operators night mare.

low slump would not feed into my ball pump and i would use a tamper handle as a spud stick. if they stop pumping i would break the 2.5 inch line and recirculate and just dump the mud out of the 2 inch reducer.

This is very important when pumping shotcrete. High rpm and low volume. Yes it is a hot mix but it is creamy as well. treat it like High early mix and dont mess around. 65 pettee i was wondering how that job went. i did a job yrs back and used a 42m with 200' off the end and it worked out great. it was on the 12 th floor.
