Like the walkway on a six foot wall. Safe, safe, safe. It is a different mind set.

EXAMPLE: Look at the saw cut job on the outrigger blocks; all exactly the same length. ;~)

I´ve pumped 170 yard and they suportleg where at the same place all the time....pumped 1.5 yard/min , we have to wait for mud so I didn´t pumped flatout....

Have you pumped so you move the pump ? Or do you get hit by the mixers ?

Under My 13.5 year in pumping I have never slipped of dunnage or some pads . Or been pushed of from them , and when I`m started to pump We had big hoppers with a beam with rubber the mixer or tipper back against .

Vasa,in most of the placement pic's I see from there the concrete seems wetter than what we place here. What slump do you usually place?.The mix designs/admixtures must be different.

I have always wanted an air cuff or similar set-up.  I really do not like kinking my tip hoses, but also do not like making a mess dripping every where making a mess.  Brundage won't spend the $$ on the air cuffs, but then they wonder why we need to cut our tips hose every three months or so...

Could you post some pictures of your air cuff, up close VASA???  Is that something You guys bought or fabricated yourself???

The slump is usually between 6-9 inch and after that they take slumpflow , how much the concrete flow out in a circle....25-29 inch in diameter....

I´am not so good at concretemix but I shall go a course in that in oktober november....Then I can mix concrete on a conreteplant if i want....

If you see some pic´s or video with big crews , they are probably from Polen...Many crews are from Poland is in Sweden for work . We have not enough crews in Sweden and hardly no young people learn the job ! Sad but true , no craneoperators or pumpoperators either....

Bob,that's the way I was leaning.I am always amazed that others learn before us.Another thing that boggles my mind is why US contractors "just don't get it".Figuring added crew, patch work, placement time makes one wonder about actual cost of s-p.

In the summer months here you can bet your bottom buck there's "delvo" in my mud.Should I need it wetter "high range water reducer".Cheap insurance for a better job.
