Been looking through the  parts book for my schwing 39x 2525-5 and  I'm not clear what is worn. Anyone  here who  has had this happen and how was the repair?

if its leaking oil out of it usually its because you have a seal leaking on a hydraulic pump, I deal with this pretty regular on my schwing pumps.

You'll probably just have to call schwing and ask them for the hydraulic pump shaft seal. We just did it on one of our cifas and they don't break down the hydraulic pumps in the parts book on those either. You can probably find them way cheaper from a seal distributor, But then you'll have to take it off measure it and wait for it to get delivered.

Buy a shaft seal from Schwing, and before you put it in, get all numbers of the seal

2 things to check in case you already have not. It could be gear oil caused by two things. Breather could have a restriction creating heat build up which in turn creates pressure and out comes some gear oil. Or your airshift is leaking air into the gearbox which will do the same thing. Simple fixes
