Hey Raymond Why sweat the rain?. It will become cold enough in the mountains by this Saturday night into Sunday for the rain to change into the snow above 9,000 feet. The first WINTER STORM WARNING of the season has been posted for mountain areas west of Vail Pass and for the San Juan Mountains. A total of 6 to 12 inches of snow could accumulate by tomorrow around Vail, Aspen, Telluride, Lake City, and Silverton. Mountain areas (above 9,000 feet) along and east of the Continental Divide will less much less snow.
