Hey guys i was wondering when you use the t pipe to eliminate surge while pumping, when you blow out or suck back, is it a good idea to eliminate it or leave it on? If i do leave it on will it make my pump lose power for clean up? Thanks guys. |

thanks speedy for the reply, it makes sence if it reduces surge IT would reduce suction too , thanks again !! I like all your coments you are pretty sharp ; |

it takes perhaps one extra stroke to create the negative pressure inside the surge 't' |

Speedy, Where does it go? (the neg' press') The (boom or pipe) system is closed and every time the sponge moves it diminishes the pressure... when it stops (sponge) the - press increases / or the pressure decreases until the sponge once again is overcome by the - press and is caused to move to further diminish the chamber. At that point any movement (there isn't any) by the slug of concrete in the "t" would have a momentary infinitesimal (doesn't even happen) positive effect by increasing the size of the chamber thus lowering the pressure |
