One of the things I liked about running a putz was the button on the rear panel to turn the pump off without hitting an e-stop or honking the horn. How come Schwing (perhaps others as well) do not have this feature on there machines? The only answer I get from them is that it is not safe which makes little sense. Does anyone have the wiring know how to possibly put a switch like this on a CPC controlled machine? |

I have never seen that feature! Did it come out after 2005 or was it special order? That is a way better concept than the e-stop or horn. If they could stop the pumping mode from the back of the pump and then it would reset itself so you could still stroke the pump while waiting for mud. That would be a one up!!! |

I run an 04 putz and it has it and i love it. When you are in a position where you cant hear the horns the driver simply pushes the reset button on the back control panel the opposite direction which will stop the pump. It does not kick any E stops so there is no need to do any resetting. Just wait for more mud and let her rip |

I tend to agree I as an experiance op do love the Putz but also think it was not good also(sorry did not mean to disagree I as a new op a few years back would keep hitting the pump forward button and activating the pump until the barn cleaner would leave the button in until I walked to see he was serious. Hmm never realy caught on LOL. Just thinking buddy was interf with my reception. Radio remote that is. Just because the Thompsans were always getting cut off by Joes coffee maker it seemed. |
