I have the sad report of a Chicago pump operators passing .Jim Pishotta has been in the concrete pumping industry for at least 35 or more years .Jim worked with some of the earliest concrete pumps made, Case International,Squeezecrete,to name a few.Jim preferred the present manufacturers machines, in his words " you don't know what concrete pumping is till you have ran a Squeezecrete and had to change a pump tube".Jim finished out his career at the Local 150 Apprentice training center ,training operators in the concrete pump operator training classes .We will all miss Jim ,The thing I will miss the most about Jim is when he would come around our shop at Original Concrete and talk about work ,life and concrete pumps .Rest in peace Brother.
Services for Jim will be on Friday April 16th at Cumberland Funeral Chapel 8300 West Lawrence Ave. in Norridge ,Illinois from 3 to 9 pm |
